Just because it is a major PITA to reconnect the EGR tubes to the plenum. I figured "It can't *hurt*, so why am I spending hours trying to reconnect them?" Removed the system and life is much simpler now. Also, next time I pull the plenum it'll take much less time. 8-)

"They should either be put in prison.. or put into a mental hospital so that.. a) they get the care they need.. and b), and most importantly, we get our streets clean!"
